Clarifications in filling up the Sponsorship application forms

Hello members,

I am sponsering my wife from India, in outland class. I have few following questions in filling up the application forms. Please see those questions below and help me by replying for those queries.

Sponsored Spouse questionnaire(IMM 5490):

Information about your marriage:

Q No. 12 : Who proposed?
Since this was arranged marriage whom should be mentioned here?

Q.No 17:
a)When was the marriage arranged?
Are they asking either the marriage date or the date of engagement?

b)Where was the marriage arranged?
What should i write whether engagement place or Marriage venue.

Application to sponsor and undertaking(IMM 1344):

Clarification in Q No: 6
In question number 6 we have a note stating

"If you are sponsoring a member of the spouse or common-law partner in canada class, do not complete b) and c)"

What does the term " Member of spouse" and "Canada class" means?


Sponsorship evaluation(IMM 5481):

In page 2 of 2 please let us know how and what should be filled(Starting from question no 5 B) i) to 6 B)?

For who proposed, I looked at my friends file who is from India, and he put down "My parents proposed".

Also for the dates, I believe you put the marriage dates.
