Hi everyone,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m currently on an authorized leave of absence from my university due to a family emergency that requires me to travel back home. While I understand the importance of maintaining full-time student status as an international student in Canada, I wanted to seek some advice regarding my situation.
This semester, I will be taking two subjects, and in my third semester, which is primarily online, I plan to take the third subject offline to complete the required course load. I want to ensure that this plan complies with the requirements to maintain my full-time student status and eligibility for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
Has anyone here been in a similar situation or has insights into how this might affect my immigration status? Any guidance or shared experiences would mean a lot to me!
Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to reply—I truly appreciate the help and support from this amazing community.
