Clarification need on notice of return

Hi, my friend is an asylum claimant, he received his first notice of return on 15th August where he handed over 4 photos, and all his identity documents, at that time IRCC officer told him he would receive another notice next month for Brown paper.

He already received another notice of return, and the document still says him to bring the photos, and identity documents as same as the first call documents.

• This original appointment letter;
• All original identity documents including passport(s), travel document(s), identity card(s) and birth certificate from your home country.
• 4 original passport size photos."""""""

Anyone had similar experience?? should he take photos again for brown paper collection or it could be copy paste of previous latter and not a must?

Update:

Later I went to the interview taking photos for second time, however IRCC officer told me that a photo is not needed for the second interview unless you have received an specific notice saying your previous photo refusal. So anyone who has already handed over photos in the first interview, no need to take a photo on the second interview
