claiming points for part-time work experience while pursuing full-time study

I sent an email to CIC regarding part-time work during full-time study back home in India. CIC replied me back "Hi Meena. You can count part-time work experience towards a work experience requirement as long as you gained the equivalent amount of experience as someone who worked full-time for at least one year (1560 hours). Please note that this is only true if you were not a full-time student while you were working." I further enquired and they replied me back as "Hi again. Unfortunately yes, any work experienced you gained while working part-time and studying full time cannot be counted."

Anyone succeeded by claiming points for part-time work experience while pursuing full-time study?

To be considered under the Canadian Experience Class:

You cannot count work experience you gained while enrolled as a full-time student. Your work experience must have been gained while on a valid work permit, such as the Post-Graduation Work Permit.

You must have gained the equivalent amount of experience as someone who worked full-time for at least one year (1,560 hours) in the three years before you submit your Express Entry profile.

To be considered under the Federal Skilled Worker Program:

Your work experience must have been full-time (or the equivalent in part-time hours), worked continuously and paid, for at least one year in the same occupation.

I was working as a Research assistant (part time) while studying ( full time). I submitted experience letter from my professor, which was accepted by IRCC.

@Sabeen99 Hello , I have my primary noc as dentist with 1.5 year continuous paid work experience and i worked part time as a retail sales supervisor during my studies which is a different noc . So can i combine these noth noc's to claim points. And can you please tell me if your part time work was in the same noc as that of your studies or it was different ?
Kindly help me !
