Claiming points for paid internship for the Federal Skilled Workers Program

I was looking into the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) program. It requires one year of paid, continuous work experience in the same high skilled occupation occupation. I worked as a software engineering intern part time at a company for 6 months while I was in the senior year of my undergrad program. It was paid. I worked as a software engineer at the same company full time, without any breaks, for 8 months after I graduated. Can I consider this to be more than 1560 hours (one working year) required? (I ran the numbers and the number of my total working hours easily exceeds 2000). I have all the pay stubs that show my hours.
