Claiming point for LMIA

Hi,

My Pgwp expired and my employer has applied for the LMIA and we are still waiting for the decision.
I had also filled the WP extension before my PGWP expired. I am currently working on implied status
I am wondering if my LMIA is approved ( we expected the decision will be made within the next 2 weeks), can I claim point for express entry right away ? Or should I wait till my closed wp is issued

you will be able to claim the points right away, even in your lmia letter it would say that worker should apply for pr or work permit with this LMIA
