Claim of POF

My question is, suppose I have made the express entry profile in march 2016 in which I have claimed that I have required funds just to make a profile and in reality i am some short of required amount for POF and I get the ITA after 6-7 months and at that time I have the required amount. Does it matter to them? They need the proof that if I have claimed on certain date I have to proof that the funds were present on that date?

You must have the funds at the time of submitting your application post-ITA and when you arrive in Canada. The fact that you didn't have them when you made your profile is irrelevant.

Just be aware that they will get suspicious if you had any lump sum credits in your account. You will need to explain those to avoid the impression that you borrowed the money.

They only look for pof 6 months back only so if you have the money before that its fine correct
