Hello Everyone,

I have a question regarding work experience. I am working as a Resident Doctor in Pakistan. My 16 months experience is of a private hospital and the remaining experience is in a military hospital. Although it is not a government job and i am not under any military obligation. I have been working as a civilian doctor under a training program called FCPS which is a specialty training. My overall experience including this made it a total of 3 years and my points became 472 on which i received the ITA.
However my concern is that anything under military will not be counted as experience and in that case my points are lower than the Sep 4,2019 cutoff score and not enough. What to do about this and how to confirm it?

Hi,
If your military hospital experience was full time and you were paid for it than yes you can claim points. You will have to get a reference letter from Military hospital as per CIC guidelines. If you can show all these, you will be fine.

Anything under military not counted as experience is false.
