I hope there is someone out there that can help me!
I have signed up for the 1 year holiday/working Visa and I hope to be in VC by the end of the year. I'm from Ireland and have over 5 years civil engineering experience both on site and more recently in the consulting field.
Ideally I would love to get some engineering work when I'm over to build-up my international experience! So I have a few questions if anyone can help me out!
1. Are there many civil engineering jobs out there at the moment and is there much construction taking place?
2. Are there many companies out there that would consider employing someone on a one year visa?
3. What part of Canada would the job Market for Civil Engineers be most buoyant?
And finally,
If all else fails are there many non skilled jobs available in VC to earn some pocket money?
