There are some jobs which require signatory authority and for such jobs P.Eng license is essential, for example, project manager, resident engineer, designer, structural engineer, design coordination etc. There many other roles job such as site managers, construction managers, project coordinator, schedulers, planning, projects controls, quantity surveying & estimation or quality coordinator or managers. P.E license is not essential for such roles. It is worth mentioning that considering the competitive nature of the market, PE license is considered an advantage for all such roles
