Hi,
I'm trying to draw a process map for the process and below what I think happens from IRCC point of view:
- Application received and checked.
- AOR sent.
- Application moves to In Process.
- Application is sent to local office.
- Criminality is checked (FP may be requested).

Then what happens after criminality is cleared?

My understanding is this;

- Application received and checked.
- AOR sent.
- Criminality/RCMP check is completed. (this check states if FP is required or not. if required, local office handles FP)
- Application is sent to local office
- Application moves to IP
- FP request is issued only if required from the earlier criminality check
- Background and security checks begin. These are not limited to Canada only like criminality is. So the process can take a long time
- Test & Intrview
