Citizenship test reschedule in advance

Folks, just wondering if that would be just enough to call CIC at 1-888-242‑2100 and let them know that my boss planned a business trip for me to London, UK for a couple of weeks (23 days max) or I need to write them an official letter & send it by Canada post??

Any drafts for that type of letter is available with someone here and address where to send that letter, please.

if the test or the oath is still not scheduled then just inform CIC by phone they will put the information on the system ..no need to send letter .. the case where you have to send a letter is if you stay more than 2 months outside of canada... I would call CIC and ask them... when you travel keep checking the ecas ...also keep all traveling documents and may be a letter or document that shows it is business trip. you may need them in the future.
