My wife had her citizenship test in Ottawa on March 17, 2015 and she does not know the structure of the test day.
my questions are:
1. Is the citizenship test first thing to be done that day
2. Is there any interviews and if yes, what to expect the questions about.
thanks
First you would provide your invitation letter and they will confirm your identities. Then you will be invited to take the test, timing is 30 minutes. Then you will be taken to a place where you will wait until you get invited to the interview. Now, in some offices the couple get interviewed together as a family, and in other offices each one is invited alone. I think in Ottawa, each of you will be invited separately for the interview as per a previous post.
In the interview, they will tell you about your test result, they will check your documents, all your passports, they will go through every page. They will ask you about work, and general questions to measure your English competency and to confirm data. If you have any stamp that is not in English or French in any of your passports, then you must translate them at a certified translator. Then after that they will give you an indication of what to expect next.
