Citizenship test at Kitchener center

Hello,

Our test is scheduled for Nov 5 at 8 a.m. at the Kitchener testing center.
Anyone who took the test there recently, can you please advise on how long it took from the test to the interview? I would like to know how much time to take off from work.
Also, can you please give some feedback on the questions? Which site would you recommend? I read the book but I am having a hard time to remember all the dates.

plan for atleast until 11am. It really depends on the order in which you finish your test as that's the order they call in for the interview at Kitchener.

Btw, when did you apply and when was your file transferred to Kitchener?

Here is our timeline:

Citizenship
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 10, 2012.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 10, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on November 21, 2012.

We sent you a notice on October 22, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 5, 2014 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

It took this long because the needed finger print from my dad and since it's a family application everyone had to wait. Apparently they did not receive the finger print from RCMP (which was done in 2013) so we had to send in May of this year.
