Hello everyone,

I have to pass the citizenship test in Montreal on April 2 was 8:15 but I have not yet received the letter of convocation,
my letter of invitation was sent on February 25 and I Have not received anything, I contacted CIC for that and they say that at CIC montreal I pass the exam and they give any details for the adresse where i passe my exam.

Note in ecase they says that they send me a letter on 25 febraury, for my test of 2 april 2015

is that someone will take the exam for the month of April, and what the address indicated on your letter of test,

Thank you friends

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
We will take our test on Mar 16th at 1025 Rue St Jacques.

Things to bring:

1) test invitation - for you, print out ecas screen, but I'd call again.

2) 2 pieces of ID (Driver's license, health card, PR card, etc)

3) all of your original documents that support your application (as listed in the document checklist - COPR, language proof, etc)

4) Permanent Resident card (if you received one)

5) all passports and travel documents in your possession (current and expired)

There's a line where additional items to bring can be added, but it was blank for us.

We also received a Special Event notice that, if we pass the test, and our application is approved, the oath ceremony will take place 2 hours after the exam.

I don't think everyone gets that notice, but be prepared.

We are bringing our kids to the test because they would be required to attend the oath ceremony.

Good luck!

No worries!!! You still have plenty of time to get your test invitation letter. I am sure that you will get it by the end of this week or early next week. Be calm my friend and good luck.
Cheers,

Hi Paco,

We applied in Jan 2014.

Our timeline is already in the spreadsheet that was started last year.

Thanks!

SerenityNow, I also received a test invite for April 21st with the additional notice of the oath ceremony to follow on the same day. I noticed that the only ceremony schedule on that day in Montreal is at 11am, but my test is scheduled for 1:30pm.
Did you check if your oath ceremony was published at the CIC website?
What time was your test at?

Thanks!

My oath ceremony was published, but not all ceremonies are listed.

Everyone taking the oath during our ceremony arrived earlier for the test/document review. Only guests were invited after the interviews were complete.

Be sure to bring all original or updated documents. One of us had updated driver's license and health card.

I wrote about our experience here:

Good luck!
