Does the date of filing tax affect when I submit my citizenship application. If I filed my tax on the 20th of Feb but it has not been assessed yet by CRA, should I wait or can still submit my application for citizenship as long as I satisfy the 1095 days criteria?

As per Instruction guide, to be eligible for a grant of Canadian citizenship, you must:

• have been physically present in Canada for at least 1095 days in the 5 years immediately before you apply
• if required to do so, have filed personal income taxes for at least 3 years within the 5 year period

As you have already met 1095 days criteria & if you have filed taxes for at least 3 years within 5 yr period then you can submit your citizenship application.
