I can’t seem to find a link for photo specifications for online applications. Do I follow guidelines for paper application photo specs and scan them for upload?

also, it seems like the shop used a stamp that has a spot for a guarantor’s signature which I am assuming is for passport applications. Do I have to retake this? Would appreciate some direction. Thank you.

the specs are the same, but the instructions could be different. You should create an account and check the instructions

Did you ever get an answer? I took a photo today and it was a passport template. In the CIC website it says the passport and citizenship photos are not the same but when you compare them they are excatly the same. The photographer said they are exactly the same and didn't reshoot a photo.

The photo sizes for the application of canadian citizenship and the canadian passport actually are the same 50 mmx70 mm

Canadian Passport :

Canadian Citizenship (you have to click a couple of options for getting the size - self explanatory):

Thank you. This is very helpful. CRC website says "Citizenship photos do not use the same specifications as passport photos." but I think this must be a mistake in the website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ip-application-photograph-specifications.html
