Hi,
I applied for canadian citizenship in June2008. I was working outside of canada for a canadiancompany. Getting salary in Canada and was not getting anything outside canada. I applied for citizenship considering my onsite trips outside canada would be counted as I was working for a canadian company and was sent outside for work.

Application Date: June 2008
Test date: November 2008

After that I didn't heard anything and today I got a letter stating I have to appear against the judge. Can some one tell me what sort of questions he may ask?

Thanks

Hello,

I may not have the answer you are looking for, but I just wanted to know, at the time you applied, did you not have 1095 days of physical presence ??

No I was not having physical presence. But on website it is mentioned that if you work for a canadian company and are sent outside canada then your days might be counted. I read it somewhere in cic.gc.ca.

Also not I am already eligible as I have completed more then 1095 days till date. So not sure what will be judge's judgement.

Thanks

What you read was for PR not Citizenship. You should have waited until you had 1095 physical presence days before applying. You still have a chance in front of a CJ though... so You can go ahead and explain you ignorance to the Citizenship Judge. In addition, you should probably consult with a lawyer at this stage.
