I applied to Citizenship as a refugee. They required fingerprints, now interview. I wonder what do they ask? Do they ask anything about our background? I mean this is going to be like another hearing for me? Or they will just verify some information. I feel a bit nervous.

Hi,
It’s a simple and straightforward interview. Mine was virtual, they will check the original copy of all your travel documents or whatever documents they have asked you to bring to the interview. Sometimes, they also do this interviews to validate language skills.

Don’t worry, it might take awhile to complete their due diligence but I’m sure we will get it. I called IRCC earlier this week and apparently, the question I answered yes to in the prohibition should have been no. Everything passed in August and prohibition went back to in progress in November
