Hi all !
My son was born in Ukraine to my girlfriend and I. I am a Canadian citizen my girlfriend is not. I am applying for his citizenship as I believe he is a Canadian citizen because I am. question #12 appointment of a representative do I click yes here as he is only 3 months old?
If so, on the form it requires his signature, do I just leave it blank and the immigration officer will automatically assume by his date of birth that he cannot sign it?
thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. Much appreciated!

Representative means RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigrated Consultant). These paid immigration consultant will file the application for you and they have form to fill out.
I believe what they are asking is do you have a paid RCIC member to file for you?
You will say yes if someone is filing them for you.
I believe your answer is No.

If you are a Canadian Citizen born to a Canadian Citizen parent but was born outside of Canada, then your son will not be a Canadian citizen by blood.
You have to make him a PR then become a neutralize Canadian.
If you are born inside Canada then your son will be Canadian by blood.
