Hello Everyone,

I’d like to understand how physically present days be calculated especially if I were to renew my PR card.

My PR card was issued in 2019 and I have spent only about 12 months within Canada.

If I do not meet the eligibility, (be physically present for 1095 or more days) and if I were to renew my PR status in late 2024, will the previously spent time be taken into account?

Appreciate everyone’s input.

When you apply for citizenship, the previous five years is what matters in terms of meeting the 1095 days. When your PR card expires or if you recently got a new PR card is irrelevant.

I have Bachelor's degree from India and an equivalent WES transcript that I used during my PR. will these two documents be enough as Language proof for Citizenship?

Does your degree say that the program was completed primarily in English?

No it doesn't say anything about language, but entire certificate and program was in English

I believe you need evidence the program was conducted primarily in English in order for IRCC to accept this as language proof.

You will need some form of explicit statement that says your medium of instruction was English in some official documentation from the university or school.

You are also allowed to use any valid or expired IELTS general training test showing your score was over a bare minimum, which most people should have. I'm not sure if you used a stream that didn't require an IELTS.
