Citizenship Document?

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post in this forum and i hope i can get some help from this forum.
Im a permanent resident in Canada and I'm applying for citizenship and i have all the required documents except the photocopy of my passport. when i first came to Canada as immigrant,the Canada embassy grant me the Visa in a paper not in a passport or travel document. after i arrived in Canada, the CIC asked me to mail that Visa paper to CIC office. Now i don't have passport or travel document to send them the photo copy. Do u guys have any clue what to do?? or should i get new passport from my home country's embassy and send them a copy???

did you make any copy of that visa before you sent it to CIC?

I don't have or had any passport, they issued the Canadian visa in a paper.

Unluckily, No. I forgot to make a photo copy of it before I mail to them
