Citizenship certificate

Hello,

I recently applied for my daughter's citizenship certificate and its been 3 weeks now. I have not received any confirmation by email or mail
just wondering how long will it take to get initial confirmation? or do I need to contact if they received OK? if so, who do I contact?

They can take months to send you any confirmation of any kind, let alone a citizenship certificate. The timeline for my newborn daughter is below.

25SEP2019 - Application submitted at the Canadian Embassy in Vienna
15OCT2019 - Official receipt as per IRCC
14JAN2020 - Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR)

I still have not received any documents and she is now almost 6 months old.

The backlogs at IRCC are apparently horrendous and it would seem that they are also horrendously understaffed when compared with the demand.
