Hello Fellow Canadians!
Having waited for this moment for nearly 10 years (God, time flies...), I have just now completed my citizenship oath ceremony, and in the spirit of keeping up with my newly acquired Canadian responsibilities of helping the community, I thought I'd start a new semi-formal thread to estimate the citizenship certificate timeline from the date of citizenship oath ceremony to the date citizenship certificate is received in mail. Hopefully, it can be continuously updated with more recent timelines as time passes by. The idea is to have a somewhat reliable statistic of how long approximately it takes to receive the certificate in mail after the ceremony. If interested, and to contribute, please leave your timelines here in the following format:
Processing Office: [Location]
Oath Ceremony: [Date]
Oath Status Complete: [Date]
Citizenship Certificate: [Date]
Expedited: [Yes/No]
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE PARTICIPATING!
