I've read through many of the posts here and it seems plenty of people have endured issues similar issue to mine - so grateful for any insights from the forum. I submitted Citizenship Certificate (Proof of Citizenship) Applications for both my children in November 2020... and received them both back today. I missed a single check box on one of the applications. My bad. I will have to resubmit them. What's frustrating is CIC does not provide useful guidance in the paperwork they returned nor clarity on their website regarding my resubmission obligations. The website appears to tell me that I can simply correct the error (i.e. check the checkbox) and return both applications. But the website also says this:
You can use all the same documents and payment receipts to apply again. Make sure the signatures are still valid.
Well, my children and I all signed the applications 9 months ago. So does that mean we have to start over - or...??
Appreciate any help anyone can offer.

- We must get your application within 90 days from the date you signed it.
