My family and I applied for citizenship back in November 2022. We took the test in March 2023 this year and after we haven’t heard anything from IRCC (Sydney office). It’s been two months that we’ve been stuck on LPP. I don’t see any problems cuz we have been in Canada for 8 years, I studied and graduated here, and I also don’t have any prohibitions. I don’t get why they are taking so long yet I’ve seen people who applied early 2023 got their oath taking already. It’s just frustrating how slow they are at processing and unfair that we have applied earlier than the people that applied this year. How much longer do you usually wait for oath taking after the test? It’s just frustrating tbh. I have plans to go Japan this December and I decided to just get a Japanese tourist visa since these immigration office are just inconsistent.
