They are now processing Citizenship Grants Applications up to August 29th 2014.... They received my application August 28th 2014.... I have not seen anything online yet... How long does it takes for it to appear online?

Hello DAN11

The processing usually starts 2-3 months from the day they receive your application, depends on your local office,

so the applications that they started processing now most likely was received on June/July

For example : My application was received on NOV 22 , and they started processing it on Feb 7

Hope that gives you an idea .

Good luck!

Hi,

I not sure I understand but what I want to know is that once they reach the date they start processing the application (or date opening) when does it available online to see your info. I thought I was able to check with my client ID now since they now opening up to August 29th and mine is August 28th. But nothing is online

Thanks.

Again the first Online notification after your local office receives your complete application is IN PROCESS
which you will see on your ECASE once they actually start the processing
so i'd assume if they received your application on august 28th give it 2-3 months
so you would be able to check your online status by the end of this month or the first week of next month sometimes

Good luck!

Dan,
Only after system update; same day some times and after 2/3 days many times (Tue/Thu/Sat/Sun). Keep a vigil on your emails also (if you provided one..) as there are many people on the so called "new routine" who received email AOR many weeks ago but no e-cas activated until now. i.e even if your case is in process, you will not be able to see anything online if you miss the email (AOR) for some reason.
There are at least four August applicants under this thread (New Citizenship Timeline 2014) still waiting to hear from CIC.

You can see it here: http://goo.gl/UdobDn

If you wish please join the New Citizenship Timeline 2014 and keep updated whenever you have one.
Please browse to end of lines and click on Add New here ...fill out/update and submit..

Hi Donvalley,

Thanks for this info, I think you are right coz when i go into check the first thing i see is "Please note that some citizenship applicants are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our e-Client Application Status online tool. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible".

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think this is related to what you just told me.

Yes, you are right. Around 40% of applicants starting August (processing June applications) only got their AOR through email only, due to a system glitch/new numbering pattern. As there was no official updates available about this procedure (until now!) people were a bit confused in the beginning. It is expected to be resolved by end of this month. See the discussion on this thread.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/applicants-on-new-routine-app-no-c000xxxxx-and-email-aor-t248142.0.html

Also to add for your previous post: They don't open the applications in any strict order. So you will see people mailed applications weeks apart receiving AOR together. As returns are home long back, don't worry; just keep checking for few more days.

OK, I will be checking both my e.mail and also the website. I called them yesterday and one call center telling me one thing, then hours after I call again and both call center reps say different things as always. Seems like the don't have clue whats happening.
