Happy Canada Day! I just took the oath of citizenship yesterday on Canada Day. I am proud of being a new Canadian citizen.
I got a lot of information here and I would also like to share my citizenship application timeline with those who have submitted the application.
I live and work in Toronto, Ontario.
Timeline:
January 4, 2016 Submitted the application to Sydney, Nova Scotia
January 11, 2016 Application received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
February 1, 2016 Receipt of my application by e-mail
February 14, 2016 Application in process
June 8, 2016 Citizenship Test and interview
July 1st, 2016, Citizenship Ceremony
