As Canadians living in the UK we're applying for citizenship for our two children (9 & 11) born over here and are struggling with the ID documentation requirements a little.
We have copies of their UK passport pages with photos for the first piece of ID, but struggling to figure out what we can use for the second.
I don't believe that the school actually issues any kind of official "school record" as mentioned in section 2 of the application guide, nor do I think that we have any kind of official "health insurance cards" also mentioned..
Has anyone else been through this process and found something that will be accepted?
I know that they are very particular about having all of the documentation exactly as specified, so am dreading getting this rejected and sent back. Especially as I suspect we will have quite a lot of hassle trying to fly to Canada with them currently - with us on our Canadian passports (as is mandatory), but them without.
Any advice very gratefully received.
Thanks!
Andy
