Hi I'm about to send in my citizenship application for my 5 month old son born in Ukraine. when I notice the in the reminder section about including 2 pieces of personal identification one of which must have your photo on it.
1. is that for me or is that for him? If so how can I get a baby a picture ID good enough for IRCC?
because he doesn't have his passport yet from Ukraine because its in processing.
I have his national identity document which is not translated yet.
I have his birth certificate which has been translated and certified copy.
I have a certified copy of his Ukrainian passport
I have a certified copy of my Ontario birth certificate.
I have a copy of my passport and my girlfriends ( not certified copies)
Thanks

The two pieces of personal identification would be of your son. In your post, you initially said that his passport is being processed. Three sentences down, you then said you have a certified copy of his Ukrainian passport, which I am guessing you mean your son. If the latter is true, then is this a copy of the photo page? If it is, then that should satisfy the requirement for a piece of identification with photo.

You'll probably just have to wait for the passport to arrive before proceeding with the application then, unless your 5-month old son already got his driver's license or school ID o_O.
