Hello Everyone,
I submitted my Canadian Citizenship application in November 2017 and it was received in Sydney on December 5th, 2017.
Unfortunately it was returned to me in January 2018 with a letter saying: Your application for Canadian Citizenship was considered incomplete and was not processed because you have not submitted two (2) identification documents.
As part of the document submitted I included photocopies (first two pages) of all valid and expired passports and also photocopy of my Permanent Resident Card (front & back) .
They recommended me to review section “Step 3 Gather Documents” in the istruction guide for more information.
After reviewing the indicated section what it described as document to be submitted with the application is just a photocopy of personal identification and not two.
Can someone please tell me if the identification document I submitted is not correct and why Authorities are requesting me two documents insted of one as described as per guideline ? Thanks
