Citizenship application form does not have bar code?

I am sorry I am catching up... Do I need to "validate" citizenship application form at CIC website which in return gives a barcode at the bottom of the form? I heard it somewhere, just wanted to confirm with experts.

The form doesn't have a validate option so the answer would be no.
