Citizenship application delay

Hello,

We applied for citizenship on April 2011, passed the writen test on september 2012, received RQ quest. May 2013 , submitted the required document the same month May 2013...and up to now no news , knowing we left canada as vacation only 39 days in total, and 50 % of this trip are related to my work , and our physical presence is 1125 days , it is at montreal office..we sent several letters, calls...ATIP..everything is normal no flag or what ever..did any one have this exeprience?

your time line is almost similar to mine, but in your case processing time is over,

you may contact good lawyer and file mandamus case if you can afford to hire

lawyer. good lawayer may cost approx 3.5-5 K... rest keep checking with

cic and your MP they may assist you meantime what your atip report

stated ??? when did you got atip report.....

frustrating, I do not know if CIC is even working on 2011 files . I think they want us to spend another 3-5 K to get citizenship which is so unfair.If their processing system is fair they should at least keep us informed what is going on and tell us honestly their plan to deal with our applications.

me too i did my test on june 10, approved my file on July 17th, called last friday and the agent said i should wait more

I called CIC recently and they did informe me that my citizenship application was accepetd, and I have to wait for a letter regarding the ceremony, did you know how long it takes time to send this letter?

hi did my exam June (montreal) and i got the letter last week for Oct oath its almost 4 months in montreal
