Citizenship application and holidays

I recently applied for citizenship (May 2014) and will be going to the UK for 9 days vacation. Should I inform CIC of this?

Once I read on their website if you are going to leave Canada after you apply, you have to inform CIC if you are going to stay more than 14 days outside Canada.

9 days is not a big deal. I applied in june and now I'm on a 6 weeks vacation, didn't inform anybody
