Hi,
We've arrived in Canada in June 2007 on my wife's study permit (and my own open work permit). At the time of arrival, we already had an opened PR application (FSW) on my name.
During the first year and a half, we both received an "employment" income from our own companies abroad, which have been reported as foreign income in our Tax returns for 2007-8.
Since our arrival in Canada, not me neither my wife had any additional employment income. She studied for almost 3 years, and recently started an (unpaid) internship position, while I made some occasional stock trading as well as home making (I am almost 54 year old, and we raise 2 teenagers).
From march 2009, we are PR.
We are now about to apply for citizenship, and as per the residence calculator we both passed the 1095+ days of physical presence in Canada.
Is there any risk for RQ/interview by a judge/denial, due to the lack of Canadian employment history for both, and education history for me?
What should be indicated in the application under city/country, regarding the "employment" during the first 18 months. Canada (as per our physical presence, or our original country (as per the foreign company address)?
Thank you for you advice!
Cheers.

If i understand your question correctly you mean to say that you were physically present here but had income from other country. In the form you need to mention the address in canada since you were present here in canada physically and mention as unemployed .You can tell them that you have foreign income.I dont think u will get RQ .But you will definitely be asked what you did in canada ? And how u survived.

Thanks,
Pradeep.
