I would like to seek advice and guidance on this issue: If someone is holding an Iranian Passport but having Residency Permit (Either Work or any other type of permit ) of one of the Gulf Corporation Countries i.e. Kuwait, UAE , Bahrain or Qatar in their passports, and they have been living physically in Canada for 1095 days (3 years out of 4 years) , would there be any problem for them when they apply for citizenship? would holding residency of another country in your passport cause any problem when you apply for Citizenship in Canada?

Appreciate guidance and advice.
Thank you

There should be no issue as long as they meet the residency requirement for citizenship.

A valid residence visa in a GCC is usually a red flag for the CIC, and typically results in a RQ. If you search on this forum, you will find plenty of examples of people who can attest to this.
