CIT 0520 Checklist question - Easy one

Hello everyone,

I will be providing all the following that the "Citizenship Official" has asked me in the CIT 0520 letter checklist;

-Passport (color photocopied all pages)
-Rental type agreements (rather letters from previous friends/landlords explaining my living arrangements in all addresses I lived, due to not having actual lease agreements)
-Records of employment
-Notice of Assessments (Taxes)
-Provincial/Territorial personal health claim summary (medical hospital/clinic history)

My question is can I provide them with the following additional supporting documentation below that they didn't ask for on the checklist without creating any issues? Or will these additional documents create an even clearer picture of my case?

-Dental/Orthodontist records/history(to further prove my activity as a resident in Canada, as well as additional "medical related" documentation)
-Letter from Welfare explaining when I began receiving social assistance after my employment layoff (because I was laid off from employment, and Citizenship might wonder how I survived the period of time I've been laid off)

Any advice on this is appreciated. I'm trying to put together as many peoples thoughts and opinions on this one. I'm a bit torn in decision on what to do. Thanks for reading! :)

My advice, especially after all the issue of Married/sponsership/seperatetion/divorce and your RQ thing .
For your best sake take a lawyer.

I would say the same, send all what you have. The dental records as well. This might help you avoid another cit 0520 if they are not satisfied with what have already been submitted.

thanks for the input! I'll add a respectable amount of additional documentation then.

Also, am I considered a "non-routine" application now with getting this CIT 0520, and how long will it take for an answer/result? Years? I'm not sure if CIT 0520's are big delayers of the application process the same way a full blown RQ is, or if the process now is actually faster than it was in the past. There are that people waited only weeks to go from CIT 0520 to actual oath invite, and others that wait 40+ months to hear about oath.

In RQ one thing is not to overwhelm your case officer.

Add a cover letter - list the documents you have added that is requested by CIC, pending documents and the additional or substitute documents. If you do not have or cannot produce anything that is requested provide a valid reason (do not worry - tell them the truth).
First create a chronological order of all the documents they have requested. (Suggestion go from recent to old as you may have clear documentation for all the recent ones)
then at last add the additional documents

Make the job easy by adding sticky notes on the top to identify the documents, add tabs to separate make it like a life story.

I got my RQ in August 2014 and my Oath in May 2015. I was a Mar 2014 applicant. So the above is from my experience. I think for the time CIC took compared to my peers mine is light speed. So plan and deliver.

I had lot of travels (3 trips of around 69 days and lot of US trips, unemployment for 6 months and no regular address for the same period as I was couch surfing) So be frank and CIC will understand.
