Hello everyone Q11 CIT application
work/study history.

During my eligibility period, I was employed by company XYZ as a remote worker. The company is located OUTSIDE CANADA (in the USA) however I was based in Canada working from home (this was before the COVID work from home trend ).

Now my question, shall I provide the company address in the USA under Q11 section OR shall I provide my HOME address?

Well, I would provide your office address and may be write in brackets (Firm is in the US - I worked full-time from home). You can attach a letter of explanation to clarify this to the officer.

The question is very clear I think, they are asking for your employer's address not your address. Even if you are working from home your employer's address is still where they are physically located especially if they have their address on your paycheck. In my five years eligibility period I worked for an American oil and gas service company, for my home country branches but was physically working overseas and in east Africa for my entire 6 years with them but my paycheck was coming from my home branches office. In my application I used my home branches address as that is where my employer was physically located and the question is about your employer just try to answer the question as it is.
