Hi, could anyone tell me if CIC will do investigations on my stay in every country for which I submit the police check? If so, what sense does it make that I have already proved my clearance from criminal record in that country? What other information would they want to know and check for? thanks!

Hi

Why are you asking this question?

If your PCC is legitimate then why would you have a concern?

CIC deal with PCC's from around the world daily, they will be aware of legitimate documents or fake documents.

Thx

Could you tell me if they are able to track all my stays and entry/exits in specific country? I might have overstayed in Italy. Will they check that information out following the PPC from Italy? If so what effect will it have on my immigration application? Please help!

As long as you were honest about the dates you were in Italy - then there shouldn't be a problem. If you were not honest about the dates of your stay - then you may have a problem on your hands that could negatively impact your application. Nothing much you can do at this point other than wait and see what happens.

Hi

Agreed, you need to be honest about the time you spent in any country.

Thx

If you listed your dates correctly on your application then you have no worries as an overstay in another country should not be an issue in regards to getting your PR visa for Canada. If you did NOT list those dates correctly and instead opted to 'embellish' your stay to say, reflect a shorter stay than you actually had, then you MIGHT be in some trouble. It could be seen as misrepresentation and if that be the case, they can deny you your PR visa.

If you didn't lie about it, then don't worry about it.
