Seniors please help.

I completed medicals on Jan 7th and the doctor said, he sent these on Jan 10th through regular mail. CIC sent a mail on yesterday, saying they didn't received my medicals and asked me to submit before Feb 14th.

I spoke to doctor and he said that he will send an email to CIC. Could anyone please tell, what are my options in this situation? Can I ask the doctor to resend the reports again? I asked the same questions to CIC and waiting for their reply.

Just a QQ - Why you didn't opted for E- Medical ?
Also When Doc comfirmed that he sent via mail , DO you have any tracking number for this ?

I always suggest to Go for E-medical as its faster and Electronic too.

Usually it takes around 3-4 weeks to update at CIC after sending the medicals. I do agree that you should be opting for e-medicals. May be you can get an update from CIC early next week, if possible about your medicals, if not ask your doctor to resend the medicals.

Another Option Could be go for E-medical NOW ! I know Financially there will be another impact but it will surely get updated to CIC in a week time frame.

Choice is yours.

Depends on the doctor though, mine took three weeks to upload an e-medical. ::)

I stay in US and the panel physician nearby does not have e-medical enabled. Surprisingly in my case the CIC is following up with me on the medicals. They initially sent a mail on Jan 14th and said that they are waiting for my medicals to finalize the application.

The doctor sent a mail to his contact in CIC(Wendy Marks, NHQ - Health). They are able to locate my medicals file and did the processed the medicals with in 48 hours. I received an acknowledgement mail from CPC.

Now the wait start for PPR. Thank you all for the replies.
