Hi guys. I am wondering if anyone has got any idea about, how the exact PR procedure goes. Called the CIC call centre last week. I asked them, if I should sign up for express entry and if I would do so, if it speeds up the process. The agent told me, that my application is going well and that it wouldn't make sense for me at all, to go towards EE. When I asked her, what she meant by "going well", she said: they are doing the background checks right now. What does that mean??? Is that the last step before I get my RPRF request? Or is there something else in between the background checks and the RPRF?

Any input is greatly appreciated, as I am becoming more and more frustrated with the long wait. I guess most of you can feel me. Thought PNP was supposed to be fast track. Just would like to get an idea about, how much longer it might take.

Thanks

It usually means after this they will ask you for RPRF and passport.

Of course, this is true if they do need any additional info from you and your background cheque is clean.

You always need to provide the same information to them. Client ID, date of birth, etc.
