CIC Returned Application

Hi Guys,

Important information to be noted.

1) When I sent my family application, I came to know that I made a mistake in my son's file so I called CIC, they told me that all of your application will be returned and not just your son's application.

But they only send my son's application back to me. weird ??

2) I don't know about any of you guys but another assumption which I believed was that they will check application whether it is completed or not at the time before they start processing application but it does not seems like that.

CIC received my family application package on 3rd and exactly I got one of the returned application after a month, that means they started checking application completeness within month time period. And I still other threads where applicants are getting acknowledgement receipt from november 2013.

Any thoughts ?

In my particular case, they did return all of our applications back. However I'm sure once you send them your son's application back they should be able to link it with your family application.

I sent it on 2nd Jan and re-sent whole package again after 2 days once I realized I made a mistake and confirmed with CIC.

Did you send two applications? When they returned your son's app, did they included a letter?

I sent another application on 3rd for whole family again.

Also, I just got documents for my son only, they also mention specific error is made.

I made only a single mistake, on online calculator form, it was signed but date was not mentioned.

How old is your son? They should have call on your phone to mentioned this. This is just a date not a signature, officer could have filled this for you.

In the UK, these kind of minor matters are sorted by matter of a phone call, either they fill for you or if not they'll ask you to fax it for them (with the reference they mention).

Anyway, fingers crossed guys.
