CIC rejection on educational credentials

Dear All,

I have seen some posts/topics on this forum whereas some people got refused by CIC due to their not sufficient educational credentials. There was one case where applicant had an ECA report where his "Bachelor of Arts" got the equivalency of "Two year undergraduate study in Canada" by WES; however, his application got rejected later by CIC because he failed to provide "Canada Secondary Education" credential which is by the way 10th and 12th grades in Pakistan. And as per him, he had sent all his educational credentials like BA degree, 10 and 12 grades as well, to WES and CIC accordingly.

This does not make any sense; since we already have the highest degree available with us then why CIC is considering secondary education in this case? We cannot have highest degree without completing secondary education.

Is this something usual by CIC? I have already sent my docs (BA, 12 & 10) to WES; can you guys let me know if I will face the same issue with CIC and should not apply therefore or otherwise will be rejected later?

dear can you update what is your wes evaluation result for bachelor of arts degree

What matter is how WES evaluates your education. If WES says you have the equivalent of a BA then this is how CIC will evaluate your education as well. If WES says you just have the equivalent of 2 years of undergraduate studies - then this is how CIC will view your education as well.
