Hi All,

I am in canada and am filling the CIC Questionnaire (Visitor Visa for my Mom & Dad) and have couple of questions :-

1. How long are you planning to stay in Canada ? Q:- Can I put `more than 6 months` options ? or it should be less than 6 months.
2. Do you depend on someone for financial support? Q:- This question is for my Parents and is this for India ? because they will be financially dependent on me in Canada but not in India.
3. Are you accompanying a family member that has status in Canada, or has recently been approved to come to Canada?
Q:- What to put in this Y/N? I am in Canada on work permit but my parents are in Indian.

4. Do you want to submit an application for a family member? Q:- I am answering the questions as if my parents are filling it

Are you applying for Super Visa or Travel Visa?

I am in Canada on a working visa . Type of visa for my parents will be Travel visa .

TRV are for a max of 6 months (more than that is immediate refusal).

Be careful of what you write down, the longer the visit the tougher it is to get it.

2. Do you depend on someone for financial support? Q:- This question is for my Parents and is this for India ? because they will be financially dependent on me in Canada but not in India.

No interpretation needed, do they? No they don't.

(they will when they arrive to Canada, but they are asking now, not in the future)

Are you accompanying them? No.

4. Do you want to submit an application for a family member? Q:- I am answering the questions as if my parents are filling it

So yes right?

If you were filling it: father and mother
If your father was filling it: mother

So in all the cases you want to submit an extra application.

I have filled in the questionnaire and now in the list of documents I can see `Marriage License/Certificate (required) ` for my Father.

Is this what I should expect or I have done some mistake while answering ?

Only you can answer that. I would guess your father has to prove somehow that he is married to your mother, right? So I would think that is expected, but again, only you know what you answered and what are your specifics.
