It's been almost now 2 years since application submitted. Any lucky folks like me who's application got this delayed and still counting days ?
I applied through Ontario PNP and it was accepted. I finally submitted application(after Ontario's acceptance) in Feb 2016. For this, I paid RPRF amount during June 2016 and since then my application sits on "Background verification in progress".
Recently(2 months ago), received notification asking me to resubmit MEDICALS as the submitted medicals got expired. At present the CIC shows "Medical check in progress" AND "Background verification in progress".
Let me share another interesting story : I received final confirmation from CIC, but when the checked the message, I found intended recipient as some one else. Now what I am doubting is if CIC has send any of my application updates to someone else !!!
On multiple enquires, I got answer that my FILE is with visa office outside CANADA and it is in DELHI. I wrote them many times and no response at all. I submitted WEB FORM and has been waiting.
Any one who took this long ?
