CIC major outage/files cannot be accessed, files lost?

Are you guys experiencing this? If you call CIC for immigration citizenship status update, their automated system says files cannot be accessed as system is down. It has been 2 weeks now. Same message. If you speak to someone after holding for over 30 mins the agent says the same thing.

They probably lost many applications and are trying to scramble now. This is unbelievable that a major North American country's immigration department's system is down for so long.

What are your thoughts. Applications submitted for citizenship in Dec 2018 have not heard back at all.

I haven't tried calling them, but I doubt that's the case. Some applicants from Dec 2018 received their test invites and some even took an oath.

Anyway, spreading rumors that can cause panic isn't a good idea.
