i was just wondering if someone could answer a quick question i have.
my wife was approved for sponsorship and my part of the application was forwarded to london on the 8th March.
I just wanna know if anyone knows whether you will recieve an email or a letter from the london cic requesting your passoprt?
im only asking as i have seen a lot of people have had requests by email but i cant remember filling in an email address on the forms.
oh and also is anyone that applied in feb 2010 able to log onto ecas yet?
we got a letter from cic mississauga but still cannot log onto ecas

I applied in January and am able to log onto e-cas fine, other than my partners acceptance for spousal sponsorship i've not heard anything and my e-cas hasn't changed from decision made for my partner. I've heard of people receiving passport requests by both email and letter and the shortest time line is areoun 64days though if its a complicated case it can take longer. I'm going to start chasing up if i've not heard anything at the start of next month as it will have been a few months without word of london actually receiving my application from Mississauga.
