CIC Local Office Inland Landing - Clarification

Can anyone please advise, if its really mandatory to take 2 new set of photos during CIC local office landing (apart from the 2 submitted during coPR). I don't see its been required during border landing. Not sure, why it's required only during CIC local office Inland landing. Kindly help.

Did CIC send you a letter OR were you required to provide new photos during in-office landing ??

I did land in a CIC office and I wasn't asked about new photos.

Upon booking an appointment with CIC, I received an interview letter mentioning the date and time.
Along with the interview letter, it mentioned to bring two set of photos with list of documents required for landing.

However while I submitted my passports to cic Ottawa for PPR, I had already sent two photos and one came back along with coPR copy.

May I know, if any one else who did Inland landing, had experienced this. Had this information for new photos were present in your interview letter too. Apart from passports and coPR, May I know, if there are any documents required to do the CIC Local office - Inland Landing. Can anyone Kindly advice.

so were the photos needed. Or anything else they asked?
