Awesome...Thank youprofiler said:Visa Office.
You bet.kayvee said:Awesome...Thank you
I ordered the GCMS Notes, even though I dont know what the purpose of that is
Thanks everyone for all your help and advice

You should think about getting your local MP involved if you haven't already. As I suggested from my previous post.kayvee said:Thanks everyone for your help
I requested that they change the venue of the interview but they
said "the interview cannot take place in Canada. Please advise whether you can attend or not"
I dont know what else to do
Going there without a re-entry visa is not an option. I would have no place to live.
That makes senseprofiler said:You bet.
The notes will give you insight into why they wanted the interview in the first place. Whether you are able to attend, or not, you can use this to strengthen your response to the problem, or in subsequent applications.
Best of luck!

Call the constituency office...kayvee said:Thanks for your advice
I emailed my MP
I have not heard from him yet
I dont know if I can keep the Canadian Embassy waiting ....but lets see what happens
I think you are right, but it allows you to stay in your visitor visa up to two years, regarding you need to ask for extensions every 6 months or sokayvee said:Its a long story which I will tell you one day if I ever run into ...I will tell you over a cup of coffee
But the short answer is because Im being sponsored by my spouse and the visitor visa allows me to stay here with my spouse.
kayvee said:Guys...the Canadian Embassy in Turkey is asking for Original Police Clearance
I have already sent that with my application. To get another one would take around 2 months...which means I would miss my interview date
Do I need to get another police clearance if I have already submitted one?
What if I withdraw my application?
If I withdraw my application:
1) Can I re-apply for my application (inland) right away?
2) Will I get a refund of my fees?
3) If I need to wait until CIC confirms my withdrawal...how long does that take?
GCMS notes take about a month to be sent to you. By the time you get them, you would have missed your interview. Call CIC office and ask them. Although I think it is legit. You may also call the office that scheduled the interview for you and try to re-schedule. In worst cases, you may have to leave Canada to get that Interview done and re-apply for a visitor visa. It does not make sense to lose your sponsorship application because you don't want to lose your visitor visa! Please use the time remaining wisely.kayvee said:Awesome...Thank you

Yes I was told that if I had already submitted a police clearance certificate then I didnt need to submit another one.Aquakitty said:Don't panic yet. Are you sure that's not just a form letter? Does it address you specifically or use terminology like "If you haven't already provided the following...".
Even if it is another actual request, send a case-specific inquiry stating you already sent it (sometimes they do lose forms). And, if it takes 2 months, that won't affect your interview. You can inform them of this even at the interview.
I have been in contact with the Embassy in Turkey via email.I_Miss_Him said:GCMS notes take about a month to be sent to you. By the time you get them, you would have missed your interview.
