Hopefully, I will be able to send my CIC application this week (waiting for 2 PCCs). It's been almost two months since I got my nomination from the AINP (H1B stream) and still have not been able to send my package to CIC Buffalo.

The CIC Buffalo website says that we can pay the fees in either US$ or Can$, but there was a guy here who posted saying his package was returned because his fees were in US$ (cannot find the post anymore to see if he has updated it). Those of you who have already received AOR, can you please confirm that it is OK to send a Cashier's Check in US Dollar ($465 per person for adult and $130 per child)? Can I make one Cashier's Check for the whole family or does it have to be seperate for each person?

Does anybody have a link for the photo specifications? I heard that we need SIX per person, but wanted to know other requirements like size, background color etc.

Did you guys include your university diplomas/certificates with the CIC application? Thank you for your time.

You can pay in USD. @one check for whole family? should be fine. I am single so can't say from my experience.

You ought to have received this checklist with your AINP nomination:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf

FYI, I have paid in USD in 1 cashier's check for 930 (465 x 2), just mailed my application though, as you know.

Also, the guy who said his application was rejected did not confirm the amount on his check. I suspect he made a check in USD for 550 per person, instead of 465.

Thanks bendjoe and nomad_musafir.

I think I have recieved that checklist, but it's been a while I have opened my nomination package. Thanks for the link. The checklist does not talk about needing educational credentials (diploma/certificate) for provincial nominees during the CIC application process, unless I have missed it.

I want to ask one more time if you guys included diplomas/certificates with your CIC applications? If yes, I need to order my transcript from another state and it will take a while. Thanks.
